“Abhimanyu overheard his mom’s discussion with Lord Krishna on Chakra Viyug”. As an adolescent, he led Pandavas in a crucial moment in the Kurukshetra war remembering what he had overheard as a baby in his mother’s womb.

Latest brain based research studies point out that brain development, right /left hemisphere orientation is almost complete by the age of six which influence the pathways of physical and mental health and behavior throughout his/her life.

Brain cells of children are very active from 0 to 6 years. Hence Play School Education is indispensable in shaping the all round development of young kids. As toddlers have young and impressionable minds, it is essential to nurture social skills, table manners, personal hygiene and emotional intelligence. Children during their early childhood learn many values through play and activities. Hence, the curriculum of our school is based on weekly and monthly activities revolving around themes which focus on developing 8 intelligence's of young children. Learning would happen incidentally as a result of active engagement in various fun-filled learning activities and play.

Age Group: 6 months - 1 ½ years

Mom & Me Program is uniquely conceptualized to lay a strong foundation in the early lives of the toddlers. It aims to proudly partner the mothers for their toddler’s growth, development and achievements by developing love of lifetime learning and shaping their intrinsic skills. We focus on meeting each and every child's Physical, Cognitive, Language, Socio-Emotional & Creative needs through developmentally appropriate learning practices. Mom & Me caters to creating a bond between mothers and toddlers, where the mother professionally learn when, where and how the toddler needs his /her mother by getting involved in different activities along with their toddlers and hence ensuring the toddlers overall developments.

Age Group: 1 ½ - 2 ½ years

Toddler program is designed to help the child to switch from home to school.

At this age, the child depends on his/her sensory grasp of the immediate surroundings.This program is the base that understands the child. It builds on his/her skill sets and works towards crafting play and learning that will enhance his/her growth.

It assists the child in getting familiar to a structured, stimulating environment of learning and play. The toddler program is designed around weekly and monthly themes based on real sensory experiences that the child can identify, relate with and understand. The teachers take the child through a journey of singing, dancing, play and body movements; thereby inducing learning within the familiar environment of play.

The themes based teaching develop the child’s cognitive functions, grasping power, motor and social skills and builds his/her confidence and self-esteem. Extra-curricular activities such as sing-alongs, art and craft, plays and puppet shows, ensure that the child explores his/her creativity, too. We strongly believe in forming trusting bonds between toddlers and their teachers.

At Sha Manyu toddlers are engaged with activities which focus on your child’s primary areas of development such as:

Fine Motor Skills: Toddlers fine motor skills, which include finger and hand movement, need to be encouraged in order for them to progress.

Gross Motor Skills: We focus on the development of all gross motor skills of toddlers such as walking, running and kicking. Gross motor abilities share connections with other physical abilities.

Emotional Skills: At Sha Manyu toddler classes, we help them gain skills such as patience, cooperation, sharing etc., at an early stage. we assist toddlers in exploring their emotions, ranging from pleasure to annoyance.

Social Skills: Children are taught important social skills such as imitating and responding to words and actions; Identifying and being able to name familiar items; engaging in conversations with the help of pictures; following simple directions and asking questions and by introducing various toddler games.

Communication Skills: Our teachers have a deep understanding of how baby toddlers communicate. At Sha Manyu, children are taught to put their wants and needs into words. This is done through activities for toddlers, like singing, recitation of nursery rhymes, etc., so as to increase their vocabulary.

Resoning Skills: Teachers at Sha Manyu encourage toddlers to investigate their environment in order to develop skills such as thinking, learning and knowledge addition.

Age Group: 2 ½ - 3 ½ years

The Nursery curriculum at Sha Manyu is a planned learning programme which is designed to inspire your toddler to create, move and interact. Teachers conduct activities for kids which help them make discoveries by themselves.

Nursery children explore their surroundings and people around them. They acquaint themselves with materials with different grips, they identify a larger number of shapes and colours as well as letters and numbers, they learn about patterns and other creative designs, they are exposed to a higher level of creative movement and storytelling, and they enjoy a sense of independency through self-help tasks. Our curriculum is built around teacher and child initiated learning activities where both are active partners in the learning process.At this age, children are driven to learn and actively come to terms with the way the world operates. Sha Manyu opens their eyes to a world of learning, sharing and exploring through its nursery education. Our teaching approach engages young minds with a blend of music, art, storytelling and movement. This approach uses an explosion of language that allows them to interact more verbally, giving us a clearer insight into their perceptions. The Nursery programme at Sha Manyu provides the materials required to stimulate curiosity, exploration and creativity coupled with experiences and interactions to support constructive learning.

It includes pre-writing, pre-reading, pre-maths, science and social skills. These are taught in a natural and logical sequence; thereby encouraging the child to learn a step at a time.

Curriculum activities such as monthly thematic programs, specific weekly topics and daily learning, keep the child focused on academic learning through exploration. These also encourage self-initiatives, build curiosity and persistence in the child.

Extra-curricular activities include art and craft, dramatized plays, role plays, inter-personal and social interaction. These ensure that the child explores his/her creativity, relates learning to everyday life and builds confidence and self-esteem.

The nursery program is crafted around the age appropriate needs and skill sets of the child. This encourages his/her overall development by offering a stimulating environment that combines learning and play.

Age Group: 3 ½ - 4 ½ years

Our Sha Manyu children expand their explorations from the school to the neighbourhood and beyond. They ask and answer questions, solve problems and interact with other children and adults as they pursue their choices and plans. They can read, write and converse in English, they move with greater control over their body, they familiarise themselves with complex shapes, patterns, shades in colours, they learn about time and weather, they start to apply their imagination to creative writing, they can measure and understand the different forms of comparison. Children are introduced to numeracy and literacy at this level.

Age Group: 4 ½ - 5 ½ years

At Sha Manyu children are motivated and well equipped to face the challenges of formal schooling system. UKG is a program to prepare the child for primary school education. It facilitates the smooth transition from pre-school to a structured learning environment and formal school. They are healthy, caring individuals, good communicators, independent thinkers, lifelong learners and global citizens. They explore their environment in depth. Their reading, writing and communication skills improve. They are engaged in simple logical thinking and problem solving exercises. They are aware of safety precautions as well as the health and hygiene standards. Teachers give children a sense of control over the events of the day by planning a predictable yet flexible daily routine. They assess each child's progress and plan educational experiences that will encourage further learning.

The Pre-Primary Program at Sha Manyu is designed to get them ready for school by teaching them letters words, math concepts, and valuable social skills. With special focus on math and science tasks, which are vital school readiness skills, children are introduced to patterns, classification and identification of shapes. Teachers engage kids with pre school activities and provide many hands on opportunities for children to explore colours, animals, plants, etc. In our centres, children also develop literary skills at an early age primary education. They are engaged in meaningful reading and writing experiences, and they are encouraged to become readers and writers through a unique combination of child-initiated learning and teacher-guided instruction. Small group instructions, independent play in an organized atmosphere, and big group pre primary activities help children gain the right skills to hop, skip, and jump right into school.
